The corporate  tax on profit of the film  is less than what he gains by converting black to white . 

The black money these guys convert is usually from politicians or illegal business  which is usually criminal money made legitimate

So generally when they sell engineering seats in management kota they tend to take more than what is prescribed so rest becomes black and now when he says that he got 50 crores and in reality he might have got some where around  5 to 10 crores so rest 40 crores got converted to white and he can show some losses in other business or in this business itself and evade taxes.

Once its brought into white (domain), you have N number of ways to get tax reliefs via their education Orgs, Charities, investments into hedge funds, tax-free investments from Govt bonds..

Some plan for other point too. They claim movie was made with 50 crore budget. But only collected 5 crores. So 45 crore loss will be deducted from other income they made on other busineeses. In this way they won't pay taxes on 45 crore s profit they made on other businesses.
