Somedude Posted July 10, 2021 Report Posted July 10, 2021 అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో తెలుగు భాషకు తెగులు పట్టించేలా జగన్ సర్కారు మరో నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. తెలుగు అకాడమీ పేరును తెలుగు సంస్కృత అకాడమీగా మారుస్తూ శనివారం జీవో జారీ చేసింది. తిరుపతిలోని సంస్కృత యూనివర్సిటీ వైస్ ఛాన్స్లర్ను అకాడమీలో పాలకవర్గ సభ్యుడిగా నియమించింది. ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన జీవోను రాష్ట్ర ఉన్నత విద్యాశాఖ స్పెషల్ ఛీఫ్ సెక్రటరీ సతీష్ చంద్ర శనివారం ఉదయం విడుదల చేశారు. దీంతో రాష్ట్రంలో ఇకపై తెలుగు అకాడమీ గల్లంతు కానుంది. మాజీ ప్రధాని పీవీ నరసింహారావు అప్పట్లో తెలుగు భాషాభివృద్ధి కోసం తెలుగు అకాడమీని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. పీవీ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఆ అకాడమీకి తెలుగు దేశం పార్టీ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు, మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నందమూరి తారక రామారావు గుర్తింపు తీసుకొచ్చారు. అప్పటి నుంచి ఇప్పటి వరకు పలు ప్రభుత్వాలు తెలుగు అకాడమీని కొనసాగించాయి. అయితే ఇప్పుడు జగన్ సర్కారు అకాడమీ పేరు మార్చడం వివాదాస్పదంగా మారింది. తెలుగు అకాడమీ పేరు మార్చడమంటే తెలుగు భాషకు తెగులు పట్టించడమేనంటూ భాషాభిమానులు మండిపడుతున్నారు. There sizeable Muslims in Andhra. I am up for seperate academies instead of adding them into existing Telugu academy Quote
