Delta was first seen in India in around Oct 2020 but exactly where its not known...

Delta Plus was first reported last month in MP & then after days seen in MH , KA & some other states.

However many variants come out, the virus originated in China so it will remain a Chinese virus.

Actually if you follow Pakistani media like www.dawn.com, their main focus since 2 months is to re-brand Covid as Indian Virus rather than Wuhan virus.

In return China is offering all unwanted plastic, expired medicines, used condoms to Pakistan for free.
