The Studio is Ours, not Govt's: Suresh Babu

There has been news that AP Government is thinking to take back the land allotted for Ramanaidu Film Studio in Vizag on some grounds.

But Daggubati Suresh Babu made it clear that the Ramanaidu Studio in Visakhapatnam is purely personal and his family affair. He gave clarity on this in an exclusive interview given to greatandhra.com. 

He said that he too read some news in the magazines but ignored it.

"The studio in Vizag is my father's dream. We bought the land from the government in those days by paying more than the market value. We have the right to do cinema or any other entertainment business in that land. At the same time we also have the right to sell it if necessary. We don't have clashes with any government", said Suresh Babu.

Thus he has downed the curtains on the circulated news implying that so far he did not receive any intimation from the government authorities regarding that land.

My personal opinion not to sell any Govt land. Leasing the land to companies/industry is fine.
