కరోనా కారణంగా సుమారు 16 నెలలు నిలిచిపోయిన ప్యాసింజర్ రైళ్లు సోమవారం పట్టాలెక్కాయి. కరోనా లాక్ డౌన్ కారణంగా గతేడాది మార్చి 22 నుంచి ప్యాసింజర్ రైళ్లను నిలిపివేసింది రైల్వేశాఖ.

Its not like that they are converting some passenger trains to Mail/Express category so that charges can be bit more & faster travel..

Keeping that aside track/Route MPS upgrade is in progress now, which is on going process.

In 2000-2015 times it was upgraded from 90 Kmph to 110 Kmph & now being done to 130 Kmph.

They need to make passenger rail travel viable and self sufficient 

A 1-2% raise every six months would be ideal , especially in the loss making north indian divisions .
