Bulandshahr: A man in Bulandshar, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly sexually assaulted a 9-month-old baby girl after taking her to his house. The toddler, who is undergoing treatment at a local hospital in the district, is said to be in a critical condition. 

The incident took place in the Khurja Dehat area of Bulandshahr. Reportedly, the accused is a neighbour of the survivor. On the day of the incident, the accused took the girl to his house on the pretext of playing with her. 

Minor was found lying in pool of blood 

Following this, the man allegedly raped the girl. She was found lying in a pool of blood while the accused was absconding. The family members of the minor girl rushed her to the hospital and alerted the police, News18 Hindi reported. 

The cops sprung into action after being informed about the incident and detained three relatives of the accused for questioning. Circle officer Suresh Kumar said that a probe is underway and the girl has been sent for a medical examination.
