ఈ మేరకు భారత్‌లో టెస్లాకు కంపెనీ సంబంధిత ప్రోత్సహకాలు ఇచ్చే ప్రసక్తే లేదని స్పష్టం చేసింది. అంతేకాదు దిగుమతి సుంకంపై టెస్లాకు ఎలాంటి రాయితీలు ఉండబోవని, భవిష్యత్తులో అవి తగ్గే ప్రసక్తే లేదని ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టం చేసింది.

Why would they ? The whole green movement is a joke in India . 

Luxury car market is a cashcow for the government and they will not lose that. 

Even Tesla doesn't care about indian market because it's sales are puny , for the last five years luxury market has been stagnant at about 25k per annum . Tesla won't give a sh*t about India for the conceivable future because indian economy is in the dumps
