LLC while on H1B

While on H1B, can we start a new LLC or become a Partner of an LLC ?

If we can be a Partner of LLC, can we be either Active or Passive Partner ?

you can start, but you cannot be on your own company's payroll as far as I know

You can start LLC but cannot work for it, also you have report earnings from business in your Taxes which some people wouldn't advise while on H1B

You cannot managing member .. you should be passive investor . I'm part of a LLC .
