Check local public library for Kaplan IELTS prep plus. It  comes with audio files/CD and has all the modules like listening,  reading, writing, speaking with practice tests. 

Also check youtube videos about the speaking tests, it gives you an idea on what to expect and be mentally prepared.

Relax and do this as a normal conversation.

If you do prep for month or so you can get 8+ easily.
