 fingerprint authentication is necessary as far as I know. 

You can contact the brokers outside RTO offices , they may have some workaround.

Already have the buyer for the car, it’s just the process I’m trying to find out because of the fingerprint process.

is there a way to have the fingerprinting done here and send the docs to india…

power of attorney to the one who you authorize to sell the car should do 

A lawyer can help write the power of attorney and also can guide what other documents are required for a legal sale/transaction.
