Why do Indians (Not Native Americans) have so much of a superiority complex towards other cultures?

The more religious a country the more hypocritical and the larger a country the more insular. There’s a mammoth gap between Indian philosophy and the reality of what people see on the internet, the ego has definitely landed. The West is obviously more diverse than India. It’s acknowledged by independent authorities that India has many problems, it’s considered a bad place for women for instance. Indians insecurity about India results in an arrogant front behind which they point fingers at foreign cultures (such as the West and UK) as being inferior. But deep down they know they aren’t.
