I am assuming you have an apartment. 

Low end aithe - buy Amana brand and sell when you are leaving. Amana is HomeDepot's white label brand. No bells and whistles. Cheap

Medium/High range ante - Whirlpool, Kenmore, LG etc. Samsung looks very attractive but they have many issues. Samsung konalsinde ante local dealer daggara konu. Service issues are attended easier rather than having to go through big box stores or Samsung service (which is horrible). 

Do not buy 2nd hand. Repairs will eat up your savings.
