The incidents you are talking about is not about caste domination but about Feudalism, money domination and political domination. Thats bad too.

Velamas and Rajus are better but one of the reasons for this is the decline in their numbers and dependence of the larger society on them. Not because they do not have that caste feeling.

I have very good friends in Reds & other caste .... chala better ra ... okkasari kuda vallu na caste enti ? Ani kuda adagaledhu .... inka mana blood & breed batch ... first meeting lone “emitlu” ... valla ego satisfaction kosam pakkodi jeevatham sarva nashanam ayina parledhu ani chustharu.... too much of egoistic people. Thanks to my Kamma and Reddy brothers, even though a sort of untouchability exists in Engg/Medical Colleges in Krishna/Guntur Dists, by and large we now have a Society where we do not stand with folded hands in front of Brahmins satisfying their egos.

First they broke the ice and remaining castes like Cops, BCs are following the suite. It will be the turn of my SC/ST brothers in the near future.

I never mentioned what caste the top scientist belonged to and I wouldn't mention even though i knew it...the word upper caste is enough to feel that they are people lower than them and the treatment they give to the lower caste people is not born within them but was taught by their ancestors...

the other day I was watching the movie "The Hidden Figures".which reminded me of the lower caste oppression that still exists in most parts of the country...I am not here to blame any particular caste but the reality is totally different than what we discuss here...

well to be fair kammas and reddies and kapus were upper caste even before 1947. There were many zamindars/kings who belonged to this caste for centuries. But nevertheless they are aslo hardworking castes and NOT completely exploitive like brahmins.

What is amazing about brahmins is how quickly they side with conquerors and become their top service providers. When British came to south india through east india company - kamma zamindars such as Vasireddy vamsam various  kapu chieftains, Reddies were still fighting them as conquerors. But before you can blink your eyes brahmins were already working for british as IAS clerks / officers etc guiding them in their exploitation of india.

Samething with Muslims invasions brahmins immideately became their birbals and served them in high positions.

Have you ever asked people what their experiences of brahmins are ? there is a reason so many people complain.
