Check is there is a local Kitchen in your area that serves meals to homeless.

Food Bank in your area.

There will be Salvation Army in every town, you can donate to them too.

US aithe I wouldn’t do it bro…ikkada food chala waste chestharu and there enough donors…

My $0.02… Don’t donate to big big organizations… donate to local ngos/care centers or govt shishu vihar…

also don’t donate for food most places have resources for basic food availability… donate for providing basic amenities, health checkup, winter clothing …

for kids if you keep good food with more varieties/sweets one day, they keep looking for such food every day and eagerly wait for visitors who bring good food. In reality they won’t get that every day and this will impact their approach. One NGO guy told me this. Many people bring sweets, cakes, chocolates, biryanis for their anniversary or special occasion but without knowingly they are making a negative impact on those kids. This is making kids to desperately wait.

It’s same like begging, you think you are helping but they think they are getting east money
