In 1990, it was VP Singh led Janta Dal Govt at center, supported by BJP that ordered #KashmiriPandits to leave the valley. The J&K assembly was dissolved & Jagmohan (who later joined BJP) was esp appointed Governor to finish the task.

Jagmohan was later awarded Padma Vibhushan by Modi Govt in 2016.

There was a threat to the life of Kashmiri Pandits by Pakistan sponsored Jihadi terrorists in J&K and instead of ensuring protection & their safety, the BJP supported Govt & their pet Governor ordered KPs to leave - just as the Pakistani terrorists wanted them to!
