రాష్ట్ర విభజన తరువాత చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం అయిదేళ్లలో రూ. 1.65 లక్షల కోట్ల అప్పులు చేయగా ఆ తరువాత అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన జగన్ ప్రభుత్వం రెండేళ్లలోనే రూ. 1.15 లక్షల కోట్లు అప్పులు చేసింది.

ప్రస్తుతం ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతి నెలా రూ. 5 వేల కోట్లకు పైగా అప్పులు చేయాల్సి వస్తోంది.

ఈ అప్పులతో పాటు వివిధ కార్పొరేషన్ల పేరుతోనూ అప్పులు చేశారు. రాష్ట్ర విభజన నాటికి ఇలాంటి అప్పులు రూ. 14 వేల కోట్లు ఉండగా ఆ తర్వాత ఐదేళ్లలో రూ. 44 వేల కోట్లు రుణం తెచ్చుకున్నారు.

జగన్ ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడిన తరువాత గత రెండేళ్లలో పాత అప్పుల కంటే అధికంగా రూ. 56 వేల కోట్లను ప్రభుత్వ గ్యారంటీతో కార్పొరేషన్ల ద్వారా రుణంగా పొందినట్లు తాజా లెక్కలు చెబుతున్నాయి.

3,73,140 Crores are Debts via RBI. 

On top of it, 1 Lakh crores via various corporations 44,000 Crores as of 2019 May and an additional 56,000 crores since (as per this article).

 

On top of it, there are thousands of crores due to contractors.. Not in this article but some news channels quote anywhere between 40,000 crores to 1,00,000 crores. Let's assume just 40,000 crores.

 

So, total debt is about 5,13,000 crores  and it translates to about 94,000 per head.
