So basically brahmins negotiated a "Syed" position when converting to Islam. Apparently it is a top position there. They became famous people like Syed Ahmad Khan who continued the same castiest behaviours :

Etta penchuthunna. I posted it because it is very interesting. have you ever heard of brahmins negotiating a caste to convert to islam? is it not interesting and thought provoking ?
