Anta Assamey
Putting to rest all the doubts being raised by the opposition parties over the implementation of Dalit Bandhu scheme, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday announced that his government would implement the scheme in letter and spirit across the state. Launching the pilot scheme in Huzurabad, the chief minister declared that all the Dalit families, including those comprising government employees, would receive the financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each under the Telangana Dalit Bandhu scheme. In addition to Rs 500 crore released for its implementation in Huzurabad Assembly constituency, the State government will release another Rs 2,000 crore to cover more than 21,000 Dalit families in Huzurabad constituency within next two months. KCR addressed a public meeting at Shalapally village of Huzurabad constituency, which was attended by the entire state cabinet besides MPs, MLAs, and MLCs along with other elected representatives and the officials. KCR said the Dalit Bandhu scheme would bring a qualitative change in the lives of SCs in next four-five years. All the 17 lakh Dalit families with a total 75 lakh population, will be benefited from the scheme. “We will implement the Dalit Bandhu scheme on the lines of Rythu Bandhu. There is no doubt about it,” he said. “Huzurabad constituency should set an example for the entire country. It is high-time that discrimination towards Dalits ends and they are given the opportunities,” he added. He said his government would implement reservations for SCs in government contracts and licenced shops like fertilisers and medical shops. “They must strive hard to make turn this scheme into a movement that will create history in other States as well,” he emphasised. The Chief Minister slammed the Opposition parties for creating unnecessary confusion among the people for their political gain. He ridiculed them for coming up with absurd demands and arguments. The chief minister said politics was a game for the Opposition parties, but for TRS, it is a responsibility to achieve social goals in the newly created Telangana State. He stated that he chose Huzurabad constituency for implementing the scheme on a pilot basis, as all his schemes like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima which were launched from Karimnagar district were yielding great results.

MysoreJackson
Irrespective of caste isthe bagunde whoever is below the poverty line should have been benefited, now all caste started asking to them .... Dalits reservations through jobs kotti welll settled ayna vallu chala mandi unnaruu.. why he wants to give every dalit..... again a flaw ... instead each village lo oka 100 persons ni select cheyali irrespective of caste may be every year ... Also selection processes kuda change cheyali for every scheme... they are many complaints that they are handing it to their party members.... --Like they should accept applications from all the eligible candidates for a specific window say 10-15 days... -- Hold a lucky draw in front of the crowd and announce the picked candidates rather than someone like a collector picking. In this way no one will blame govt for the partiality, valla thala raatha ala undhani silent untaru hoping for the next luck draw .. they should implement this for double bedroom scheme also... every thing should be lucky draw... Also, the government should ask eligible candidates to build their double bed room houses, which allows them to add more funds and build it more luxuriously....just release funds based on the progress of the construction... govt should never take responsibility for benefit schemes these ... there will always be opposition blaming the quality of construction... I feel the same. Under promise sesi over delivery seyyali eppudu ina. If he totally forgets about this scheme after elections, then not a big deal. But if he does gives this to some people then rest who all didn't got will surely vote against him.
