You relate because you have had the same culture growing up, you don't need the same language to feel connected, your values define who you're, not your language. Are you saying that the only thing that makes you who you're, the only thing that defines you, the only thing that means the most to you is your language, that's pure bullshit. Language is generally the easiest identity and thats why most succesful nations are built around language - germany, france, england, russia, japan, korea, italy, greece, spain, portugal gatra. If indeed you have such strong shared values of "indian" you will be spending half the time in gujju forum, half the time in a hindi forum and some time in telugu forum. In reality you only hang out here because this is the only place you really feel a social connection. But thanks to cognitive dissonance most indians suffer from your pretend that is not the case and act something else. And this cognitive dissonance has consequences - you pay the price by living in an almost beggar like poverty country where your mother cannot understand a word your PM says. Quote

If you chose someone else and they did not kill you then would it mean that you made the right choice ? Just comparing to the guy who killed you btw.. Quote

If you're so comfortable with only Telugu, there is no reason why we are still conversing very comfortably in ENGLISH. I can assure you, I have more in common with my husband than you, even though my husband doesn't speak or understand Telugu. Your language doesn't define who you're, you values do. Language is only used to get the point across, which we seem to be doing, very comfortably so, in ENGLISH. Quote

I converse comfortably in english because i am proficient in it. I am quiet proficient in telugu also. You married a non-telugu guy - thats what percentage of telugu people - 0.0005%? you are clear exception. Its unfortunate you lack the minimum capacity of self reflection to understand this. Nobody is saying non-telugu people should be boycotted or should not be socialized. But capitalize on the already existence intellectual achievement of a language and all the hardwork it did to give millions a capability to inter-communicate and build a society on that. why would that be a problematic to you ? dont be so defensive. If someone says lets benefit america does that mean they want harm to others ? By the way are you that cat lady ? i forgot the username beta something. Quote
Telugodura456 Posted August 21, 2021 Report Posted August 21, 2021 And if you are really the beta cat lady then your husband is not even indian. Then what is all that shared indian values talk. Almost everything you say makes no sense at all - just that you dont like anyone challenging your beliefs and you will lash out against them. Quote

Ofcourse it does, you sound like you're ostracizing the rest of India when you define your identity as being Telugu? Quote

I dont like the state of india but i like indian people. I just think the nation of india is not the right political framework for indian people to flourish. They will do far better with independent or atleast semi independent (like EU) language based states. it makes governance more participating. Quote
