They are the ones who know how to “Test” the patience of opponents after Dravid. Team should always be reinforcing, every one doesn’t have to contribute always.

Rahane always performed overseas.. not in India.. look at the number of overseas tests we had in this timeframe.. but I do agree he needs to be dropped but before him Chetta gaadini drop cheyyali..

2017 tharavatha except 2019 his stats really poor even in abroad isn't much good..

I support Prithvi/Mayank/Rohit/Padikkal as openers and Rahul/Surya/Shreyas/Gill middle order .. Pujara and Rahane time over. Year ki one or two matches runs score cheste vaallaki bowlers ki difference ledhu batting lo. Iddaru served well for the team and country but ippudu inka tappukovadam better before people start hating them

Chetteshwar barely scores Runs and 90% of those runs are by luck. dont see a single shot playing confidently

Prithvi, Mayank already tried and were exposed against australia, inka England swing conditions lo 2 overs kante ekkuva adaleru. Even Gill after playing well in Australia didn't fare better against England in Home. Padikkal couldn't play in SL. Surya is the only other player who looks like he belongs but have never seen him play test cricket so cannot judge. Everyone looks great until they are put to test. Ignorance to compare IPL performance to test cricket abroad.

Yes, in test cricket playing many balls is very important and as important as scoring runs.

Rahane is the best slip fielder.

Need tough players when the going gets tough. Rahane and Pujara have proved that lots of time.
