Yes, in test cricket playing many balls is very important and as important as scoring runs.

Rahane is the best slip fielder.

Need tough players when the going gets tough. Rahane and Pujara have proved that lots of time.

 

But entha time depend avutaam valla meedha .. we need to think about alternatives and replace those who are not performing (even kohli inaa) if we want to become a formidable team like Steve Waugh's or Ricky's team. 

Playing lots of balls with a good scoring rate is what needed in tests. Pujara and Rahane batting chooste pitch lo daemons kanapadutunnayi vaallaki ani doubting. I understand talking is easy than playing but I feel new generation like prithvi, mayank, Surya, Sheyas needs some chances too to fail or to succeed.
