Because those 50% are tiffin hotels , it doesn't make sense to serve non veg in a typical small scale idly dosa hotel . 

Your number is off too , tiffin only hotels must be 70% of total in Chennai . They serve very limited lunch items .

I am talking about proper sit in hotels like sarava bhavan etc. They cant serve non-veg ? what do you mean small hotels cant serve non-veg food. Have you ever seen how people outside of india live ? nice excuses you make for caste system while pretending to fight against.

How do you quantify that one particular state is more casteist than the other? If the number of dalits being killed is the measure you wanna use, TN is definitely at the top, adjusted for population.  but does that mean TN is more casteist than other states?

dalits are in the periphery of social, economic and cultural environment in Chennai. Even worse in outside of TN.

may be you should walk around your own state, travel in unreserved train coaches, talk to people outside of your 'high quality' bubble to know your own socially disadvantaged, instead of making this a d1ck measuring contest.
