he never wore a mask and he was against mask and vaccine mandates. He might not be against vaccines but he also down played the need for it in many instances

yes he did, but he and his entire family took covid vaccine...back in Jan itself.

Thats enough to suggest he is against masks, closing of business etc but not against vaccines and medicines.

I dont think he was against vaccine, while the vaccine research was still going on he made statements that the pandemic will go away etc, he did that to give sense of optimism, I don't think it's wrong.. I think the head of the state is supposed to be like that.. they have to say everything is ok and will be ok and try to do whatever they can in the back..

well said...already market crashed last yr March lo...40+million un-employment and everyone feared 1929 kante horrible recession chusthamu ani...but that didn;t happen. So ah time lo leader panic create chesthe, inka worst ayyedi...to boost economy and to give confidence to businesses, he had to say something like that....it may sound un-realistic and often stupid...but leader has to say like that. Bad luck was it happened right during election yr and that was a weapon for opp. to spread panic
