Anyone taking it? Immigration Medicals quantiferon test came positive but chest X-ray came negative and doc suggested taking this medication for 9 months. My friends also tested positive but they weren’t suggested any medication in other states.

TB ante only lungs ee kadu.. it can be in dormant /latent stage in several areas.. sometimes when our immunity is down it can get to spine , abdomen , lungs etc.. If you take Isoniazid 76 doses it will clear that latent infection. For Immigration Medicals blood test cheste detected. Chest X-ray cheste negative but doc said start taking it for 9 months so that future lo 80% less risk annadi. Asking in dB to see if anyone taking it. Some of my friends in Dallas also detected but their doctor didn’t recommend anything.

Skin test ante only skin redness valla telustundi, Quantiferon ante blood test. Blood lo interferon gamma measure chestaru, against tuberculosis antigens. Quantiferon positive indicates that you may have latent TB, which can be confirmed by chest X-ray.

5mg/kg dose turns into 300 mg tab roughly. They might have prescribed that for you.

GO through all side effects in internet. We have to avoid alcohol .But nothing scary.
