“Chakri and Dinesh went for a swim at 3:30 yesterday afternoon (Saturday) in lake Travis near the C1 area and have been missing since then. Please let us know if anyone heard anything about them or have any insights to share on lake Travis”

Austin Lake Patrol are searching for two swimmers who went missing in Lake Travis on Saturday afternoon.  

Austin-Travis County EMS medics responded to a park on Hurst Creek Road near Graveyard Point just after 5:30 p.m.  

 

Lake Patrol said after searching the area where the swimmers were last seen with nothing found for nearly an hour, the incident is going into recovery mode.

Yep exactly...were the phones recovered near the lake shore or are they somewhere else or the phones are with friends/car while they went for swimming...or if the phones are in the lake then something might have happened accidentally

Its a very dangerous lake for swimming without floatation device. Takes several days to find drowned bodies and sometimes they even won't be able to find the body. Sorry for your friends loss.
