HI All,

I completed 4 years on H1B in August in my current service based company A..My PD is Dec 2020 but my perm went into Audit and the current company responded to the same last week. This might get approved around November under the current timelines.

I got a new offer in a product based  company B with a lucrative offer which also promised that it would begin my green card processing within a month. They also have provided this in writing along with the offer letter.

So wanted to understand if in case I would be taking up the new job in company B which had promised to start up the GC processing in a month, will I have enough time to get my new perm approved and get my 7th year extension as per your experiences??

PLease help and LTT...

Thanks,

Srinivas

NO bro, first time perm audit padindhi...

two years is decent enough time, but make sure the new company starts the GC process within a month as they promised or as quickly as possible.

All the best bro

If your PD is established with company A, company B can use Company A I-140 for extensions beyond 6th year if company A doesn't revoke your I-140

Like I mentioned I completed 2 years in august and the new company  B might start my GC process by December 2021,so do you still think it is safe to make a move..?

you can move to new comp.. product based comps are aggressive in filing h1b/gc.

audit can take 1-2 yrs ..

u can move to company B.

thats better, nuvvu force cheyakapoina, they will start Perm because u will not get extension is 140 is not filed by ur 6th year..

so they will act actively on it.

- good luck bigg boss @csrcsr

It will take 2 years based on current timelines or even more

Did you signed any contract .. ?

defer your start date.. not a big deal for any company at the end of year if they really like you..
