No, my problem is with time. If I quit now, I don't have anything to show for, for the amount of time I worked. Vere job ki justification emuntundi? That I didn't finish my project and moved on to a different one because I quit?

Yeah, there are limitations on how many years past your PhD, you're eligible for certain positions, I need to finish my project soon to be eligible for those positions. If I quit or decide to do something else, I won't be eligible for those positions.
