Most of the area's in its path were flooded but sparsely populated rural areas  absorbed the rainfall easily .

Im from Louisiana.... We got hit pretty hard on Sunday ...which is exactly 16 years for Katrina 

New Orleans and surrounding little towns don't electricity..... And them little towns were hit pretty hard as well..

Where I live at we got power the following day. We have to wait 2-3 hours just to get gas...
