Nee moham there was widespread demand in tamil nadu for a seprate tamil nation by that time itself

Tamil nadu is just a name for land of Tamils , there are still plenty of people here who want a separate nation but know it's not possible .

They wanted all tamil territories including eelam as a nation . It's all a pipedream anyway

Why did rajaji who is a tamil himself oppose the split of Madras presidency then ? it is not squaring up with your blather that there is a wide spread demand of tamil nation then.

And why is it a pipedream ? i suppose your dream is that they and you all live like slaves of delhi for ever.

Because greedy politicians want to hold onto their power over large territory just like the samaikya Andhra movement  

It's only natural for power hungry people to reject any possibility of losing a fraction of their power
