Not only just tax. You need to explain where that money came from. Going toward these rules will become more and more stricter as government needs more tax money. 

If it is NRI money to which we already paid tax overseas. Then no issues.

Yes even i got once audit asking source of funds for 3 Lakhs deposit..

I replied back online incometax portal saying i was not oblized to pay incometax in India that time since i was NRI.

its been more than 5yrs now it happened..
