Shocking caste stats in TG

I had some time so i did some research. TG govt did samgra kutumba survey in 2015 with caste info. though they havent released population of each caste (KCR cunningly uses it for electioneering - he realized for example Gollas and mudiraj are high in number for his sheep distribution and fish distribution )they released aggregate numbers here

I downloaded and played with data . Here are unbelievable stats:

a) OC population in tg is only 7% (6.9% actually)

b) Close to 40% of OC population lives in Hyderabad/RR and Khammam districts. Very high in RR district.

c) Medchal has for some reason high OC population (another 20%) - does any Telangana people know why medchal has so many OC people?

d) Given the high concentration of OC people in RR and khammam it appears significant portion of  OC population in TG is probable from recent andhra origin.T

Not surprising, most settlers from AP in TG are OCs.

I think north indian OC population in TG must be atleast 1-2%. And if you take away brahmins another 1% and 3% andhra origin OC. Probably the Velama-Reddy native to TG population cannot be more than 1-2% of the population.

How many MLA seats they have ?

What is further shocking is that this 1-2% population of reddy-velama native of telangana have 50 seats in TG assemble or almost 40% of the seats. If you include other OC of Kammas/brahmins/vysyas etc they have 59 seats or close to 50% mark.

Maybe andhra vysyas tho kalipithe 1% undachemo. I assumed 50% OC in TG are from recent andhra origin.

Vysyas and Brahmins unnadi 1+2 seats ye kadaa… did you add them to support your theory?? Are you a disciple of Kanche Iliah??

No I just added to give overall OC count and the dominant caste count (Reddy and velama). I think brahmins and vysyas are adequately represented (may be double their actual population). But representaion of reddy and velama  is very high relative to population(20-30 times their actual population).
