passport renewal help

Anyone renewed their Indian passport recently?  My 2nd passport is about to expire and planning to renew it. Do I need to send both my original passports along with first five and last two pages to VFS? I think it is my current  passport only. But want to confirm. Thanks in advance.

Only current .. i did this year… expired ones r not required

Clearly it is mentioned in checklist to send both. What’s big deal send it

as per check list 

 If you have more than 1 original Passport , then you need to provide the copies of all the passportsl
