University education is really expensive. I don’t think all of this money is going to the professors. Most of the Universities are competing with each other for students. In this process they are spending a lot on marketing. This extra marketing expense is being transferred to the students and we are ending up with very high tuition fees. It is driving away many not well off students tbf.
