Ford exits India … next in-line Honda and Nissan

VW is still there.. Many from Ford may now switch to VW, Skoda..

I drove ford focus in UK long time back. excellent car. I heard they build better cars outside of usa. In usa they build better trucks. Every ford sedan i drove in usa was crap.

Nissan is next in line , they are making rebadged reanult cars for now 

Honda is second in line , (already closed one plant ) 

Jeep/fiat is third in line (only selling one model) 

Volkswagen is fourth in line  they haven't made a new product since ten years and selling rebadged skoda

Toyota has also said they will not sell any new domestic models in india except rebadged marutis and imported cars

Result is trying hard , making new products . So I guess they will stay 

Hyundai/kia are the only foreign company making profit

honda has good sales.. don't know why they exiting... amaze gets sold almost 5k per month

but they don't launch many models.. discontinued compact hatchback model, only amaze and city are on sale now. there is mistake from their end too... honda has good name for reliability in Indian market segment

VW are here to stay they have planned Indian strategy now coming up new models..

VW is refreshing Taigun a main mid size SUV that can do good, vento is on the way and possibly replaced by Virtus which is already in testing in India..

Possible chances now Ford likers could move towards VW/Skoda since they to do good built cars.

Skoda/VW are planning lots of localization Kushaq & Taigun could well do it for them now Ecosport fans may move towards these now.
