He wants to not stir the pot, while also wanting for the contents in the pot to be edible. no understanding of how social dynamics work. afraid that Indians may get bad rap. afraid that as majority, Indians may have to make these concessions to its minorities, since this is how minorities will behave everywhere. friction is unavoidable, and societies grow by changing and assimilating. its a long long process. Indians are scared of losing their 'Hindu' land. but eventually they will. because they won't be 'hindu' by that time or even muslim/xian. they will be something else entirely. culture wars are funny. especially when you are not participating and watching it from a distance.
