Because EV uses regen braking and one pedal driving. Accelerator pedal odulthunte the car uses speed and rotates motor to generate electricity and charge battery. And it slows down on its own without brakes. I hardly press brakes. May be once in a month or less than that. That's why EV is more efficient for commute and that's the reason I got it too.

EVs ki vade batteries ki kuda mining cheyali kada. Oil at least digging from underground. Mining ki forests anni matash. What about disposal if EVs become more widespread?

Over lifetime EVs don't make much difference ani chadiva efficiency wise, 6% difference according to study that I read.
