some FAANG mgmt fellow will simply the coding tasks and train an army of indians /east europeans/africans to do them. salaries damaal. These salaries are coming because of monopoly status of american software companies in different fields.

Yes he made tons of money on the stock, and he got into Amazon as they were just entering into a very popular and high paying field now. He himself attributes to some of it being luck but yeah he stuck around and now recently retired from Amazon after 15 years to run his start up.

FAANG companies aren't the only ways to make that kind of money though. 

Naaku telisina okadu joined a top unicorn based in Southern US which is a multi billion dollar organization as employee#5, at that time he was hired from a craigslist ad. 

Cut forward to 2017, he retired as the CIO of that company with some 10M dollars in his bank in stocks etc etc. Now he is a venture capitalist and invests in various start ups with promise.

Most of us know only IT, but did you know if you make partner in a top law firm you make 1M per year or close to it. 

Maa wife valla aunty is a patent attorney in one of the top Silicon valley Intellectual patent law firms and routinely interacts with CEOs of Apple, Google etc as she's a partner in that law firm. Last year alone she made some 2.5M dollars and recently brought their 3rd house in Palo Alto. 

IT manaki telisina prapamcham maatrame, there are other domains out there which can make you money. Of course not without struggle, she went to UC Berkeley which is #1 for IP law in the nation.
