It is so weird when local Telugu people keep saying Emandi , garu 

When addressing

Naku bi sedda siraku someone says andi and call my name with garu. Arey call my name ra bhai garu endi andhrollu baga vadtaru garu biru lanti words use chesi duram oka border line gistaru. I would rather be happy if someone younger calls me anna or I call older anna

,aa inti dhaggara telugu restaurant vallatho nenu and vallu kuda alage garu, andi ane matladuthamu...I don't feel anything weird though...in fact only aa restaurant ki vellinappude nenu telugu language use chestha live ga face to face...migatha rojulu antha english and spanish tho saagipothundhi life...
