Because the whole thing is financially unviable to begin with ,  they created an island without any eco system or history. Even if anyone buys it it will never recover the initial cost + interest .

Banks will lose billions , the suppliers will not get paid and the apartment buyers of Evergrande will lose their life savings. 

But people like you will cheer hurr durr so nice , just like the cheerleaders of the  Gujarat statue

Do you disagree that Lavasa is not sharad pawars project ? Each and everyone in Maharashtra knows this open truth .
