Presentation to CTO

Guys, 

Looking for suggestion on Critical issue ,Which is got resolved today. But we are having meeting with CTO .So we have to present to him on this issue

Looking for advise on how this can be present at CTO. This is for first time  in org, CTO is asking for  status/presentation on this issue  to technical consultants( I don't know  what Director and PM's are doing here.)

Try to make it some with 3 to 4 slides..if time is there show other documents...diagrams, key points helps

Did you already googled for “RCA templates”?

First write summary on what happened and impact. Then explaij this format and also document what measures you took or gonna take to make sure it wont happen again

how did you make sure this won’t happen again 

if it happens do you have any monitoring in place to mitigate risks

On a serious note ...you have to be short and crisp. Cover important points and have good power point presentation.

Do what I said .. prepare in a language that even non tech or anyone from the company understands it.. send it over prior to meeting or if one hour meeting give them 10mins to read first
