Purpose and Objective:

The State Government’s main objective in launching this gateway/portal is to :

• Ensure 100% transparency and tax compliance from sale of tickets in all cinema halls.
• Be able to provide certain benefits seeked by the Film Industry, in this new GST taxation regime.
  1. Demand based Flexible Ticket Pricing at cinema halls.
  2. Appreciation, in the form of subsidy, to Low - budget Films.
• Provide a transparent environment for Film Producers and other stakeholders in the Film industry.
• Single Platform for all Cinema Halls and Online Ticketing Websites.
• Will Work as an Interface / Middleware for all stakeholders.
• All seats will be made available for sale at the respective box - offices as well as on Online Ticketing Websites simultaneously and can be sold by Box - Office and any Online Ticketing Website(s) on first come first basis.
• To forward necessary benefits to Producers, Distributors and Exhibitors.
• To obtain accurate data as per the new GST taxation regime – with respect to CGST and SGST.
