For Americans, they don't do that so they replace that jewelry with guns and if they have the money to buy lots of guns, they do

Plus guns are a 1000 times more practical than gold jewelry. 

You can keep your home and yourself safe since anyone who knows you have guns at home is usually careful to not break into your house. Apart from that, being a good shooter involves really good hand eye co-ordination, usually need to be in shape since those guns aren't light weight and it's a skill you can keep improving the more you practice. 

Wearing jewelry requires no skills, doesn't improve anything just makes you look like an asshole. So will take those guns anyday over being dressed like a walking specimen.
