Manager promotion HR

I was supposed to get promoted and when asking about updates manager keep saying will check with HR. It’s been 3 months. I am frustrated. What should I do ?

Isn’t your manager the one who recommended the promotion? maybe they are following the protocol of posting the position etc..

HR emantundi.  mostly HRs wait for end of cycle in march or sept to give promotions and raises. check with them. tell the head HR that this not is correct and you need some answer soon.
