'Missing' man accidentally joins massive search party looking for himself

A man who joined in the search for a missing man was able to help track him down - when he realised it was him that they were looking for.

Beyhan Mutlu, 50, was declared missing by his wife after going out for drinks with friends before wandering off into woods in Cayyaka, Turkey.

The concerned party contacted the police after spending hours trying to contact Mr Mutlu without success.

According to the Daily Sabah website, he had wandered away from his friends in a forest while drunk, sparking concern.

But all ended well after he stumbled upon a group of volunteers in the area who were helping the authorities search for him.

He inadvertently ended up joining the group of rescue workers, before realisation set in as volunteers began shouting his name.
