Kavitha : We should celebrate if people die!

Kavitha, the daughter of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and Telangana jagruti president, who is facing ire from the Telangana students for trying to celebrate the Batukamma festival in a grand way, defended herself by giving a strange reason!

In reply to the call from the Telangana students to cancel the Batukamma celebrations as around 600 students committed suicides for the sake of Telangana, she said that this is the right occasion for the people to celebrate.

"If we do not celebrate, the families of the students who dies for the sake of Telangana would go into more and more depression. If we celebrate the batukamma happily, the families too would join the celebrations and it is an opportunity for us to remove the sadness in such families" she claimed!

Whatever it is, Kavitha sure has a point there, say some people.
