The Ministry of External Affairs will start granting fresh tourist visas to foreigners coming to India from November 15. For those coming on chartered flights, visas would be granted starting October 15.

Yes you can... Unless you have urgent travel plans... There is no point of doing it... waste of money ..

thondigaallu.. they didn't commit to allowing all Airlines as yet... I guess we are still stuck with Air India/United

I thought gulf airlines also come under air bubble ?

OCI is more beneficial if you have plans of staying with the Kid in India for more than 180 days and more over lesser restrictions from India for OCI travel during these COVID times... 

But as i said you call always apply for Visa if there is an urgent travel and you will get it in 2 days or 1 day depending upon the travel need.. or else there is no point in getting visa..
