If there was not pandemic they would keep working for timepass or whatever the reason. Most of them now took break from work life. You get more money sitting at home than working.. Ex: if you are waitress, you make around 3 to 4k average per month. It is all tips and during pandemic, very few dine in options. Instead, unemployment benefits is 600 per week from federal + whatever state government- easily 4k+ .
