Producer C Kalyan has fallen in his own trench. When row started over the title of Khaleja, C Kalyan, who holds big position in film industry, took the decision of changing it to Mahesh Khaleja. For years, the chamber denied such similar sounding titles for registration when there is already such title pre-registered. But when a small time producer Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy refused to hand over his title – Khaleja – Mahesh Babu’s film, C Kalyan simply registered it as ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ by just putting small font of ‘Mahesh’ in English and highlighting ‘Khaleja’ in big font.

In a tit for tat reaction, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy approached the chamber to register titles like Bhaskar Badrinath (‘Badrinath’ is the title of Allu Arjun movie) Ashok Parama Veera Chakra (C Kalyan is producer for Balakrishna starrer ‘Parama Veera Chakra’). But the chamber refused to register them. So he went to court. Going by the case, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy has valid point. Just because they are biggies and hold power in their hands, can they change rules to their whim and fancy?
