మన తెలుగులో ఇలాంటి చారిత్రాత్మక నవల ఉండడం చాలా గొప్ప విషయం. 1956 లో ఎలాంటి ఇంటర్నెట్ లేని రోజుల్లో మంగోలు జానపద కథలు, వారి జీవం విధానం, వారి తండాలు, చంఘిజ్‌ఖాన్ వంశవృక్షం, అప్పటి రాజకీయ పరిస్థితి లాంటి ఎన్నో విషయాలు తెలుసుకుని ఒక నవలగా అందించిన రచయిత “తెన్నేటి సూరి” గారు. 

 

మనకు కేవలం పేరు తప్ప పెద్దగా తెలియని చంఘిజ్‌ఖాన్ గురించి, అతని వంశం గురించి, అతను పేరు మార్చుకుని  చంఘిజ్‌ఖాన్ గా ఎలా మారాడు లాంటి అనేక విషయాలు ఒక కథ లాగ చెప్పారు రచయిత. 

 

ఈ పుస్తకం చదవాలనుకునే వాళ్ళకి నేను ఇచ్చే ఒకేఒక సూచన... మీకు ఈ నవలలో వచ్చే మంగోల్ పేర్లు మొదట్లో కొంత గందరగోళంగా ఉండి గుర్తుపెట్టుకోడానికి కొంత సమయం పట్టవచ్చు అందువలన మొదట్లో కొంత ఏకాగ్రతగా చదవండి

In 2003 a groundbreaking historical genetics paper reported results which indicated that a substantial proportion of men in the world are direct line descendants of Genghis Khan. By direct line, I mean that they carry Y chromosomes which seem to have come down from an individual who lived approximately 1,000 years ago. As Y chromosomes are only passed from father to son, that would mean that the Y is a record of one’s patrilineage.

Yes..

basic story is correct…but writer adds his own dialogues and few elevation scenes…

just like any historical movie…

Since mongols never had any record keeping , all their tales are told by word of mouth  and mostly records of enemies who faced them
