Is the travel required? If so, call up USCIS and explain your necessity to travel. They will give you an appointment with a local field office where you can get an emergency advance parole. This is good for one time use and you do not need to attend any consulate overseas. Or if you are lucky the discussion about your necessity to travel itself will trigger production of your card.. expedited service request raise cheyyi.. this is free and is available on USCIS webpage.
